Why is it called Aosta?
Aosta, Italy, is where St Anselm (also known as Anselmus or Anselmo d'Aosta) was born.
St Anselm was a Benedictine monk and philosopher who became the Archbishop of Canterbury in 1098 and lived in Britain until his death in 1109.
